Year 6

Year 6 is a fantastic class filled with a wealth of exciting activities and experiences to prepare the pupils for their transition to secondary school. We hope you find everything you need, but if not, do feel free to come in to speak to us.

Mr Gilbertson is our class teacher, Mrs Turner is our teaching assistant working with us throughout the week, Mrs Hurst teaches us our music on a Tuesday morning and Mr Perkins teaches us PE on a Thursday.

Each week, children should aim to have: completed at least three reading plus activities, scored at least 500 points on Mathletics and aim to have as many signatures as possible to reading diaries for each time a book is read at home. 

PE lessons are on a Thursday afternoon, so please make sure your child comes to school in their PE kit and a water bottle. Every second half of the term we will have an additional PE session on a Monday afternoon.
