A very warm welcome to Year One! Mrs Hitchen and Mrs Woods are our fabulous class teachers and Miss Marks is our fantastic full time teaching assistant. We are looking forward to having lots of fun as we continue your child's learning journey into Y1.
On Tuesdays Ms Hynes teaches MFL and Mrs O’Neill teaches Music on Thursday afternoon. The children also enjoy PE lessons with Mr Perkins every Thursday 9am - 10am
Please find below some useful information about our class:
Start of the Day
Our day starts at 8.40 am. Please ensure your child is here on time and ready to start their day. We have S.O.D.A (start of the day activities) for the first 20 minutes of our day.
Lunches/Snacks
Please order lunches in advance at home. We have our lunch at 11.30 -12.30. During morning break we will have school fruit (for all free of charge) and milk (if ordered). Your child may bring in some fruit from home for afternoon playtime if they wish.
P.E
PE kits must be worn on Thursday to school and children will remain in them all day. Please remember to bring warmer clothes in bad weather!
Please ensure names are written/stuck inside all of your child's uniform.
Everyday children will need to bring to school: a coat, a water bottle, their reading bag with reading diary and books.
Reading books are changed on a Friday.
Tuesday Tuck Shop - 50p per week.
Friday toast - £1.50 payable at start of term.
A healthy snack can be sent into school each day for during afternoon playtime. School fruit is provided at morning play.
Dinners are to be ordered at home.
Our Class Dojo Page provides regular updates, information and is a great way of sharing our journey and getting involved in our learning. Any concerns or worries, please just sent a message or ring the school office.
